Breakfast Like A King


“Eat Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dine like a pauper” 
I came across this wonderful breakfast idea a week ago while I was out to cheer my friend's daughter for a mini race event. After witnessing the epic cuteness of kids
 I was almost famished by the end so we went to a cafe around the corner in Östermalm. I ordered the only veggie option they had - Chèvre toast with lettuce, apples, walnuts, red onions dressed with honey, black pepper and balsamic vinaigrette - and it was exquisite!

I was so impressed by the flavors that I decided to try this at home the very next day. It honestly turned out to be one of the best breakfast ever and the best part there's no cooking involved.

How to do it:

- Toast two slices of bread
- Place a lettuce leaf on one of the toast
- Keep generous pieces of Chèvre on lettuce- Chèvre is a soft french cheese made from goat milk
- Places sliced apple on the cheese
- Sprinkle black pepper, a tbsp of red onions and few drops of balsamic
- Top it with walnuts and honey
- Style the other toast on top like a garnish 

Have breakfast like it's Sunday everyday and Stay healthy!
